A Powerful System
For Ad Order Entry - Via Internet or Fax

Our Remote Advertising Management solution has been helping newspapers world-wide to manage remote ad entry since 1991.

Built on client/server architecture specifically designed to capture, manage and track classified ads electronically, RAM provides you with a centralized process that accepts and efficiently manages ads sent via the Internet or Fax and directly routes each ad to your advertising or production system. Your advertisers can submit their own ads electronically, any time of day and receive immediate notification of ad status and other critical information through two-way communication with your advertising system.

The RAM System provides two-way communication between your advertising system and advertisers with:

Automatic confirmations acknowledging receipt of every ad
Real-time ad status updates from your classified advertising system
Tracking and storing ads placed through the RAM System

RAM Power

At the heart of the RAM System is a powerful NT server that includes Sybase SQL database and management software, communications software and the ATS remote advertising applications: AdsOnLine for dynamic online advertising and AdFax for faxed ad processing. Every classified ad transmission is received, stored, routed, reported and tracked in the RAM System.

New ads are automatically linked with customer information to generate the automatic notification that sends real-time pricing and status updates back to your advertisers. Through communication software and ad query capability, your advertisers, production managers and sales staff can confirm that ads have been received and processed through your advertising or production system. Your staff can monitor the status of each ad, while the RAM System automatically informs advertisers electronically.

Maximize Productivity

RAM speeds the processing of ad orders in three different ways based on the source of the order. With AdsOnLine, the online advertiser completes the order entry process and AdFax eliminates time spent retyping ads. Through the automatic generation of ad status notification sent to advertisers, your staff will spend less time on non-productive tasks and more time on sales.

Maximize Revenue

By reducing your sales staff's data entry tasks, sales representatives are freed to focus on revenue generation and customer service. In addition, you can increase remote ad revenue by providing online advertisers the ability to Upsell their own ads from a selection of styles, graphics and phrases or submit a photo with their ad. Plus, remote advertisers can submit ads to your newspaper 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Maximize Customer Satisfaction

You'll find that your advertisers like electronic ad placement. It's easy and affords them greater control. They can review and send their ads whenever it's most convenient and the RAM System will automatically return critical information about each ad. Overall, your remote customers will find satisfaction in accurate, timely information and better service.

AdsOnLine (more)

AdsOnLine enables newspapers to sell advertising via the Internet, in real-time communication with their classified advertising system. All an advertiser needs is an Internet connection and a Web browser.

AdFax (more)

Designed to solve the workflow and productivity issues associated with processing faxed ads in classified advertising departments. AdFax receives faxed ads electronically, scans the faxed image with standard optical character recognition (OCR) software, links customer account information and automatically faxes a confirmation to the advertiser. Faxed ads are reviewed in the editing workstation, then routed to the advertising system or production environment.
